Thai massage incorporates elements of mindfulness, rhythmic compression, and assisted stretches to free blocks and balance your body’s natural energy flow, allowing your body to heal and balance itself, naturally. This ancient form of bodywork releases tension, increases range of motion, promotes vitality, and connects mind, body, and spirit.
Thai Massage is performed on a mat on the floor and the client wears comfortable clothing. The entire body is addressed as you are moved though assisted yoga asanas and massaged with palms, thumbs, forearms, feet, knees, elbows, and knuckles. The treatment style is slow and deliberate; techniques are adjusted to your body's comfort level, ranging from gentle to intense.
Hot Stone massage uses smooth basalt stones warmed in water. The warmth of the stones helps melt away muscle tension and enhances the healing benefits of massage. The experience leaves most clients feeling very relaxed, grounded, and blissful. Each session combines massage with stones, placed stones, and Swedish massage strokes. Oil is used as a lubricant. Available in 45 minute, 60 minute, 75 minute, and 90 minute sessions. |
